Porsche Migration Project
I led the migration of 21 Porsche dealer websites from a legacy platform to Storyblok, a headless CMS, during a four-month contract. I personally built and QA'd every site, managing sequencing, quality, and stakeholder sign-off across a four-month engagement.
My role & impact
- Direct execution: Personally built and published all 21 dealer sites in Storyblok, assembling layouts, configuring components, and populating content.
- Migration ownership: Served as the primary point of coordination between the client and the migration effort for the full four-month engagement.
- Quality assurance: Ran Screaming Frog daily against every site before launch, catching broken links, crawl errors, and content issues before they reached dealers.
- On-time delivery: Managed sequencing and stakeholder sign-off site by site, keeping 21 concurrent migrations on schedule.
What I led
- Content architecture: Built reusable content structures and templates within the headless platform to standardize dealer properties.
- Component standards: Established shared components that let each dealer site launch faster without starting from scratch.
- Legacy migration: Moved every site off a legacy, tightly coupled platform onto a modern, composable architecture.
- Site-by-site sign-off: Coordinated review and approval with the client for each of the 21 dealer properties individually.
Selected outcomes
- All 21 sites launched clean and on schedule, with no unresolved crawl or content errors at go-live.
- A standardized template system that reduced the effort required for each additional site.
- A dealer network moved from a legacy platform onto modern, composable architecture, headless and ready to scale.
