
Building revenue with Magento
I served as the primary administrator and project lead for a global Magento 2 commerce platform built from the ground up. Partnering with an offshore development team and regional business stakeholders, I helped transform the site from a blank slate into a revenue-generating engine that serves audiences worldwide.
My role & impact
- End-to-end platform management: Daily admin, content publishing, catalog ops, and QA across the full Magento stack.
- Catalog at scale: Managed 4,700+ products with robust attributes, categories, and media.
- Global reach: Supported 47 country store views with localized content in 5 languages.
- Revenue growth: Scaled to $3.2M in sales (2024) with continued YoY growth.
- Cross-functional leadership: Bridged UX, dev, marketing, and regional stakeholders to align roadmap and execution.
What I led
- Build & migration: Ground-up Magento 2 implementation, environment coordination, and launch planning.
- Content & merchandising: Product pages, landing pages, and promotional flows focused on conversion.
- Governance: Workflows, documentation, role-based permissions, and editor training for global teams.
- Quality & performance: Regression testing, release coordination, and backlog/issue triage in Jira.
